Mid-West Road Trip - Part 1

Hi everyone,

We interrupt this previously scheduled posting to share a bit about our Mid-West road trip. Our first few days were pretty much spent in the truck driving through to Shelly, Minnesota. I was a pretty good traveler. We typically drove from about 10am to about 10pm and I didn't take any naps on this leg of the trip. That meant that I crashed hard at the end of the day when we were almost to our destination but that allowed Mom and Dad to set up the trailer without me trying to help out.

While we were there we were able to visit with some family and friends we haven't seen in a long time.

                           Uncle Dan (Dad's oldest brother),
Auntie Mel (Dad's sister), and Dad           Three generations of car lovers
Grandpa Leland (Dad's Dad) and Me

Auntie Mel and 4 of her kids + Me
(Caleb, Isaiah, Leslie, Daniel)                  Auntie Mel, Dad, and Me

Milissa (Auntie Mel's daughter)          Wade (Dad's friend) and Cheryl
                                reading me a bedtime story

I'll leave you with a few photos of some of the super healthy food we consumed while on our road trip. I think I just might have a complete collection of happy meal toys after this trip!

 Until next time . . .

Duane's House of Pizza. I thought you guys were camping. Did you just pull the trailer behind the truck, so the truck wasn't alone?
You look a little tired.
