There were some beautiful waterfalls and lush green plants on the West side of the island. That is the side that also gets over 300 inches of rain in a year. Yikes! We thought it rained a lot where we live. These photos are of Akaka Falls and the huge banyan trees and vegetation in the state park that the falls are located in.
