More summer fun, more park visits. We headed up north so mom could get some new running shoes and were able to check out a great park afterward. Large grassy lawns, barbecue stands, paved path, waterfront seating, lots of people, coffee shop in the middle of the park, but the best part . . . train tracks right next to the park. Two trains went by while we were there! The worst part . . . a teeny tiny playground. I wasn't super excited about that.
Dad and I climbed all the way to the top and then walked across it
over the tracks all the way to the road. Can you see us at the top waving?

And for those of you who don't know, little girl is still with us. She will be with us indefinitely right now. We thought she might be heading to live with one of her relatives sometime in July but that placement didn't work out and now her relative search has gone back to square one. It was a bit of a curve ball but we are dealing with it.
