To Market, To Market

Hi everyone,

Wow, I didn't think I'd be getting a chance so soon after mentioning my alien frog suit to actually show it to you in a picture. Mommy, Daddy, and I went into the big city and spent the day tooling around the town. We had doughnuts at a famous doughnut shop, went to a huge public market, and did some fine dining for lunch. I was pretty spent by the end of the day seeing as how I decided not to take my morning or my afternoon nap. I don't even remember the car ride home because I basically passed out as soon as we hit the freeway. I love to get out, but it sure can be a tiring experience.

Baby, It's Cold Outside

Hi everyone,

Brrrrrrr! It sure has been cold around here. We have had some beautiful, sunny days but they have been VERY chilly. When we go for hikes, walks, or jogs Mommy and daddy make sure I'm really bundled up. One of these days I will try to get them to take a picture of me in my alien frog suit. I guess it's really a warm fleece suit but it looks like it is covered with alien green frogs! In fact, Mommy improvised and put some pipe cleaner antenna on my head this last Halloween for our walk downtown to pick up Daddy from work. People didn't know whether I was an alien or a frog so I told them I was both!

It's a Jungle Out There

Hi everyone,

I went to a new play area called Jungle Playland. It's a play area that has a bunch of slides, tubes, mats, and even a ball pit. I had a good time until I faceplanted into a slide. Having a bleeding mouth isn't so much fun. I had a hard time enjoying the ball pit and giant slide after that injury but the jeep and the steering wheels sure were fun. I'm thinking that I probably won't go back until I'm a little older and can go down the slide by myself.

Throwing Up is Hard to Do

Hi everyone,

I know the saying usually says that growing up is hard to do, but I thought I'd change the words slightly in honor of having my first stomach flu virus. Yuck! I will be happy to never have to go through that again in my lifetime. If only I could be so lucky.

I decided to post a picture that has nothing to do with the title of this blog to spare you the gross details. The other day I was experimenting with new ways to drive my tonka truck. You know, the steering wheel really is in a better location when the truck is turned on its end.

My Pet Dragon

Hi everyone,

Mommy got me a pet dragon for Christmas and boy, they sure do need to go for a lot of walks. I guess it's good that I'm walking now so I can be a responsible pet owner. It sure seems like dragons are a lot easier to take care of than dogs; you don't have to clean up after them and they really don't eat much. I guess I'll have to see if that changes if he gets any bigger.

Mommy and Daddy wanted me to tell you that I'm still having trouble with dairy. I tried soy yogurt for the first time a few days ago and it seems to be agreeing with me. I'm excited because it was yummy! Mommy was excited because it means I'm closer to eating all types of foods. Other than dairy and nuts I can eat anything. I had eggs, bacon, and a biscuit for breakfast the other day. Mommy says I have a hollow leg but I've told her I couldn't walk as well as I do if it was hollow.
