Jesus Loves Me with Twinkle, Twinkle Thrown In

Hi everyone,

Mommy caught me the other day singing Jesus Loves Me to my baby girl before putting her down to sleep. I know it may be hard to hear and I might sound garbled (especially with that person click clacking on the typewriter in the background - just kidding, it's really our camera), but I wanted to share it with you. Mommy said to say she's sorry for the sideways picture (and the dog whining part way through) but she didn't think about the fact that she couldn't edit the picture and turn it right side up when it is a video. You'll just have to crane your neck or turn your computer monitor sideways to watch!

Translation: "Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so, little ones to him belong (garble) Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so, little ones to him belong, Isaac, Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so, little ones to him belong (garble), Jesus loves me this I know, jammies, Jesus loves me this I know for the Bible tells me so, little ones to him belong, like a diamond in the, all done singing."

Cars and Conversations

Hi everyone,

How can it get any better than playing with cars and having a good conversation with family?

***Here's my small print warning: No, I will not always have videos posted now that Mommy and Daddy have realized how easy it is to post a video. In the last video you got a chance to see some of my winning personality, now you get a chance to hear me converse. Be forewarned, if it has been a while since you have heard a two year old I will remind you that they repeat themselves a lot and I am no exception!***

It's Video Time

Hi everyone,

I'm so excited because Mommy and Daddy finally got their act together and used our camera to make a video of me! They've done it before, just not often, and this is the first time I've transfered it over to my blog. You'll have to excuse the amateur quality. Hopefully the more they do it, the better they'll get at capturing my wonderful moments. I was waiting for my food and decided to play hide and seek. The translation (for those of you not tuned into my word frequency) is: "Where'd Isaac go? Oh, there's Isaac." You can hear Mommy chuckle in the background and the clicking of our very old digital camera, but besides that, I'm coming at you loud and clear!

Love is in the Air

Hi everyone,

Did you know today was Valentine's Day? We started out the morning by watching our Saturday morning cartoons of Bob the Builder and Thomas the Train. Besides my reading videos this is the only tv I get to watch so I look forward to Saturday morning with great anticipation!

For breakfast Mommy made strawberry cream cheese french toast with strawberries and whipped cream on top, and an apple, banana, and vanilla yogurt salad that I call "ice cream" because she puts it in our parfait glasses.

After showering we headed down south to go shopping. What's more romantic on Valentine's Day than buying a padded toilet seat for your precious little boy because he has shown interest in going potty on the toilet? Now, I'm not promising anything. I just wanted to throw that in there because it shows the true love of my parents that they would sacrifice a romantic holiday to go potty chair shopping!

After making our purchase we headed out to a beautiful waterfall. We got to see the falls from up top and then we hiked down the trail and scaled over a fence to climb down on the rocks at the base of the waterfall. We were gently misted while eating our lunch of MRE's, goldfish, and cranberries. We did follow it up with lunch at an ice cream shop though.
After a jam packed day and no nap Mommy and Daddy thought for sure I would conk out on the way home, but I didn't! I stayed awake the whole trip home. I'm thinking that's why I have a bedtime that is an hour and a half earlier than normal.

Until next time . . .

Auntie Shireen

Hi everyone,

This past weekend we found out that my Auntie Shireen (my Uncle Greg's wife - Daddy's brother) has liver cancer. It was a very sudden thing and they have had a whirlwind of activity that has been going on around them since just before finding out. I don't have many details to share but I wanted to post this so that all my family and friends who read my blog can hold them up in prayer.

Please pray:
- That God will use this to draw both Greg and Shireen close to him
- That God will give them both the strength that they need to fight this battle
- That if it is His will he would heal her body completely, and if not that he
would help them come to terms with it and enjoy the life he has given them

Thank you so much! Until next time . . .

Random Thoughts

Hi everyone,

We've been getting out and about - yesterday we enjoyed the playground, today we went to MOPS, who knows what tomorrow holds.

I have been wanting to share some favorite sayings of mine for a while, but I always seem to find other topics to post about. One of these days Mommy and Daddy are going to have to get a video camera or at least record me on the video mode of our camera. I say some pretty cute things! Right now Mommy and Daddy seem to get a kick out of a few of my sayings. One is when I see something that we are either looking for or a place that we are going to or just because I happen to see something I know. It goes like this (phonetic spelling is just for you), "Oh dares ______". I'm really saying, "Oh there's _______" but it sounds WAY cuter. Another favorite seems to be my answer when I get asked to do something that helps out Mommy or Daddy. I say, "Oh . . . sure" (emphasis on the shhhh and rrrrr).

Enough of my random thoughts, here are a few random pictures.

Does this remind you of the circus? Maybe the giant man riding the miniature bicycle?

Here I am "working". That's what I call it when I dump out all of the dog treats, put them back in the jar, and do it over and over and over again!

I'm ready for the superbowl!
