Trick or Treat

Hi everyone,
I finally got to carve my pumpkin! Mine is the biggest one toward the back. I decided to go with a traditional face for my first carving. I have to admit it wasn't exactly what I thought it would be like. The gooey guts were so cold that my little hands were freezing by the time I was done. Next year I am going to ask Mommy and Daddy to bring it inside a few days before so it has a chance to warm up. It was still a fun night . . . although . . . I did overhear Mommy and Daddy talking about making caramel apples after I went to bed. No fair! I have two more teeth on top now and I could easily bite into a sticky apple.
Before I go I want to point out that Mommy's pumpkin has a horrified look on its face because I have a double fist of candy. I just want to reassure her pumpkin that I couldn't seem to get the candy out of the plastic it comes in so all is safe with my new teeth.
Until next time . . .

Harvest Time

Hi everyone,
Mommy and Daddy still haven't let me carve my pumpkin! I know you have been waiting to see it just like I've been waiting to do it, so I figured I'd send you another picture of me and my HUGE pumpkin until carving time comes. I also thought you might want to see my tractor I got at the fair last month. You can tell that I'm in the driver's seat because the farmer is on the floor off to the side of me. I guess I got a little crazy in my turns!
I can now stand on my own, and even if it is only for a few seconds at a time, it's still on my own. Mommy also calls me curious george. I'm not sure why since that's not my name, but I think it might have to do with the fact that I get into everything I can. What's the fun of being able to reach it if you can't have it?
Until next time . . .

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Everywhere

Hi everyone,

I went to the pumpkin patch over the weekend and picked out my very own pumpkin. It was almost three times as big as Mommy, and Daddy, and Najia's! It sure is going to be hard work carving it up, but I think I can do it. Did you see in the first picture that I'm taller than Najia? Finally, someone who is shorter than I am!

Until next time . . .

Mooooooo

Hi everyone,

On Saturday I got to tour some of our local farms. You can't see any of the cows in the first picture, but boy you sure can see that it was a cold and blustery day. Mommy and Daddy made me wear this fuzzy hat and mittens so I didn't get too cold. We even had to drag out our umbrella and raincoats again! What do you think of the giant tractor we got to see? It's a lot bigger than my little John Deere toy I got at the fair, but it looks almost exactly like it; it's just missing the farmer singing Old MacDonald when you push his head.

My two top front teeth came in this last week. When I look in the mirror it's still hard for me to see them but boy do I feel them, and they will come in handy with eating all my new foods. I say skip the chicken and turkey and just go straight for the steak!

Until next time . . .
