I submit to you photographic evidence to help you answer the question posed above.

Exhibit A - block house built by Mom
(with an attic, mind you, just like I asked for)
Exhibit B - race track grandstands built by Dad
Exhibit C - super tall tower built by Dad
Exhibit D - tower built by Dad

You be the judge, but I think you can easily tell who the architect is in our family.
